Salsa al Gorgonzola (Gorgonzola Sauce)

Ingredients
- Enough Orchietti or Gnocchi for 6 – 8 people
- 200ml Double Cream
- 400g Gorgonzola
- 100g gently toasted Pine Nuts or chopped Walnuts
- 2 ripe Pears
Instructions
- Gently heat the cream until warm
- Crumble in the gorgonzola and stir until melted – do not allow to boil
- Add in the pine nuts or walnuts
- Cook the pasta or gnocchi, drain and add to the sauce
To Serve
Divide between serving dishes and grate the peeled pear onto the pasta
