Geddes House

The venue for our Scottish Gourmet Food Tours is the beautiful Geddes House, which is situated in Nairn, Moray, about 15 miles from the city of Inverness. The house was built in 1780 and is of Georgian Neo-Classical style. It is elegant and spacious and tastefully decorated with antiques and hunting trophies.

The house is based on a 1,000 acre Highland Estate, comprising of a walled garden, a woodland area and the Geddes Trout Lochs. You can wander to your hearts content and truly immerse yourself in the beauty and wilderness of this wonderful place.

The house its self is cosy and welcoming with it's open log fires, where you can relax and read a book or have a little snooze in the afternoon. The house also has an 18th Century Italian Drawing Room, an elegant Morning Room, a Billiards Room and a traditional Highland Dining Room.
