The holiday venue is Monte del Re, a former monastery situated outside the attractive hill town of Dozza, just over half an hour from Ravenna. Situated within the grounds is a swimming pool, perfect for a morning swim, as well as a private chapel. All rooms are en-suite and several have stunning views over the surrounding area. Flavours cooking lessons and most of the evening meals are held in a privately owned house, Borro di Sopra, which is just a quite 10 minute walk from Monte del Re.

If you want to see and experience the real Italy, then our Ravenna course is the place for you. The nearby picturesque village of Dozza is famed for it's festival of the painted wall, which takes places every second year. Artists, both national and international, come to the village to paint on the walls of the houses. It's a colourful extravaganza indeed and well worth wandering around during a lazy afternoon or enjoy a peaceful stroll one evening...

You'll be kept busy during your stay with us in Ravenna, with 5 hands-on cookery lessons in Borro di Sopra. Our itinerary also includes a visit to Ravenna, Imola and a full day in Bologna for sight-seeing and shopping at your leisure. But of course, there is also plenty of down time for you to relax by the pool, take a quite evening wander or just sit back in the sun and enjoy a good book...
