Bienvenido! Welcome to Sevilla! On arrival you will be taken by private minibus in our group transfer to the villa where you can settle in, meet your teacher and chef and enjoy welcome drinks. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or explore the grounds around the villa. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.
This morning you have a sketching and painting session with your teacher at the villa. To begin, there will be an introduction to all the materials for the first timers or a quick refresher for those already familiar. With your tutor, you will explore the villa and its grounds with your sketchbook. After lunch, we’ll explore how to develop the sketches into more finished pieces, with a focus on composition and drawing. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy at the villa or the pool area before dinner.
Today, you will head to Seville to visit the famous Alcazar Palace, Cathedral and Plaza de Espana. We’ll stop for lunch at our favourite local taberna, with more time in the afternoon to explore this historic city. Return to the villa late afternoon for dinner, prepared by your chef.
Following breakfast this morning, we will have time to draw and work on technique. Your tutor will also give a lesson focusing on drawing buildings with a guide to simplifying perspective. Guests will spend the rest of the day at the villa with time to continue their work, or relax. Lunch and dinner will be at the villa.
Another Painting lesson this morning after breakfast. Lunch will be at the villa and then you will spend the afternoon at Aracena a typical Andalusian village with white washed houses contrasting against the green landscape of the mountains. This evening, enjoy a meal out at a local Andalusian restaurant.
After breakfast, today’s lesson will be focused on the unique versatility that watercolours have to offer. Your tutor will share their tips to help you develop you own watercolour techniques. They’ll give a quick demo, after which you are free to find your chosen spot for painting. Lunch will be at the villa and the rest of the day will be spent continuing your sketching and painting. Your tutor will move around the group offering help and advice. Dinner is at the villa tonight, prepared by your chef.
This morning you will have another Painting lesson, followed by tasting of typical Andalusian food and drink at a local Bodega birthplace of Jamon Iberico. Afterwards some time to finish off your works and relax at the villa. Later this evening, we’ll have an exhibition of your artwork to the group, followed by a special farewell dinner prepared by your chef.
After breakfast, some time to pack before the group transfer will collect you and take you back to Seville airport for your flight home. Adios.
