Our Top Pick for April
Visiting Sicily in the midst of its incredibly warm and dry summers isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and that’s why we find April is such a fantastic time to visit the Mediterranean’s largest island. There’s no better point during the year to explore Sicily’s wonderful historic towns without needing to take shelter from the heat. As well as providing a chance to relax and take in the stunning surroundings, our Sicilian short breaks also provide the opportunity to learn to cook some of the island’s most traditional dishes, all from the comfort of our 19th century farmhouses.
So, if you’re wanting to make your April that bit more exciting, why not escape with us to the Med for three nights and fall in love with this beautiful region?

The villas where our cookery holidays in Sicily take place are built in a typical Sicilian style. Chosen because of their locations, they have some beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Within the grounds of the villas, there are beautiful outdoor facilities complete with swimming pools, surrounded by almond and olive trees. After a dip, you can sit back and relax on the terrace. Sicily is an ideal place for a Mediterranean island holiday and our villa is the perfect place to kick back and relax. View our photo gallery to see more of your venue.
Italian Cooking Short Break in Sicily - Itinerary
Benvenuti! Welcome to Sicily! You will find your Flavours driver waiting for the group with a sign that says ‘Flavours’ at the agreed meeting point. Once the group is all together, you will be taken by private minibus in our group transfer to the villa where you can settle in, meet your chef and host and enjoy welcome drinks and a light lunch, prepared by your chef. In the afternoon, join your chef in the kitchen for your first cooking lesson. Dinner tonight will be at the villa.
Today you visit the coastal town of Siracusa, one of the great cities of the Western Greek diaspora. Don’t miss the impressive cathedral Santa Maria della Colonna, or the wealth of ancient architecture and art, before having lunch in a local restaurant in the old part of the city, Ortigia. You will have some more time to explore after lunch. Dinner tonight is prepared by your chef back at the villa.
Today you will enjoy the morning in the villa for another cooking lesson. In the afternoon you’ll be heading to Modica to taste its famous chocolate from a local producer. Dinner is prepared by your chef at the villa.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisure morning and after lunch our transfer will collect you and take you back to Catania Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!
