The De Morgan byLegacy collection celebrates the work of William De Morgan (1839-1917), the leading ceramicist of the British Arts & Crafts Movement and highlight the detailed and intricate artwork that the De Morgan studio was known for. His amazing designs have been taking to a wide range of items including room mists and travel atomisers, travel accessories, jewellery, wallpapers and prints, home accessories and stationery.
At the heart of the collection is a deep respect for William De Morgan’s legacy. The original ceramic designs - taken from earthenware, tiles and friezes - have been meticulously redrawn by byLegacy® to honour the artist's original intentions, ensuring symmetry, form and colour are faithfully reproduced. They include designs originally seen on the luxury, opulent P&O liners of the day for which De Morgan & Co received commissions for.
