Day 1 - A Warm Scottish Welcome
Arrive at Penicuik House and settle into your elegant surroundings. Begin your escape with a decadent afternoon tea, before a welcome chat with Chef Scott. As evening falls, enjoy a beautifully curated dinner showcasing seasonal Scottish flavours, perfectly paired with fine wines.
Day 2 - Port of Leith & Whisky Discovery
Following a leisurely breakfast and morning down time, Scott will serve up lunch, preparing us for a scenic journey to the historic Port of Leith. We’ll visit the stunning, vertical Port of Leith Distillery, a landmark on the city’s waterfront. You’ll take a fascinating tour to learn about their unique approach to whisky-making, followed by a tasting of their exceptional single malt. Later, return to Penicuik House for an exclusive cooking demonstration with Chef Scott, followed by a sumptuous dinner inspired by the day’s flavours.
Day 3 - Immersive Flavours & Evening Elegance
Begin with a hearty breakfast before a hands-on cooking masterclass. Lunch is served with dishes created in the kitchen, followed by an afternoon of relaxation in the house and grounds. Later, join Nikki for a captivating wine tasting and canapé pairing experience. The evening culminates with an elegant gala-style dinner.
Day 4 - A Sweet Farewell in Edinburgh
Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast before departing mid-morning for Edinburgh. Choose between a guided foodie walking tour of the city’s vibrant culinary scene or an indulgent visit to a master chocolatier just off the Royal Mile. We’ll gather for a farewell lunch before departing from 2.30pm onwards.
