About Flavours Holidays

Flavours Holidays has been going strong since 1998, when we were founded by Lorne Blyth.

Initially, Flavours offered just week-long holidays in Lazio, Italy but that soon changed. Today, our specialist holidays have expanded their reach, and include Tuscany, Sicily, Puglia, Amalfi, Bologna and Venice, and we also go to Andalusia in Spain. The choices of activities are cooking, painting, Pilates, photography, and language-learning.

‘The company came from my love of Italy, its food, cooking, and wanting to offer an authentic experience for travellers who were keen to get to the heart of a place. I knew I wanted to hand-pick the best locations and accommodations, and I still personally choose each new villa and area we take Flavours guests to. I also made a commitment right from the beginning that solo travellers wouldn’t have to pay any extra – so we never charge single supplements. I have a wonderful, dedicated team at our lovely new office in Edinburgh and all our locations. We all genuinely want guests to have a wonderful holiday, learning, relaxing, eating and meeting other like-minded travellers from the UK, USA and Australia. Our guests love to return to Flavours, with over 40% booking more than once. Many have been on several holidays, trying a new location and activity each time they book. They tell us that they love the small, like-minded groups, the delicious food, and the relaxed nature of our holidays. They also relish discovering new places with the inside knowledge of our Flavours host to hand. And with everything included (yes, even wine and Prosecco!) they say that Flavours holidays are great value

The last couple of years have been tough but this summer we’re excited to have all of our trips back on across Italy, Spain and Scotland’

I joined the Flavours team quite recently and I already feel at home in the office. I love that people are the heart of the business and so whether I’m chatting in the office or helping someone plan their dream holiday, it’s wonderful to connect with such lovely clients and colleagues. I’m a passionate foodie, and so I fit right in at Flavours! Most of my favourite travel experiences have revolved around finding the best-hidden restaurants and wine bars, which I had a great time discovering in Venice last year.

‘I’ve always loved travel and before going into operations I worked as cabin crew and loved seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. I joined Flavours five years ago and coordinate much of what goes on behind the scenes; organising travel for all of our wonderful tutors, ensuring our drivers have the correct information and, of course, working with guests! If you have any questions about your trip, you can call me, anytime.’

Our trusted and passionate Flavours team provides authentic and inspiring experiences for all our guests

Amici Club

As a thank you to any of our guests who book a second Flavours holiday, we offer automatic access to our Amici Club. Once in, you’re part of the Flavours family, and you’ll receive discounts on repeat bookings (which increase the more holidays you book), plus invitations to exclusive Flavours events across the UK such as wine tastings or travel talks. We also offer new locations and one-off trips to our Amici – we’ve been to Morocco and a seaside retreat in Scotland in the past. And, for guests who recommend us to friends, we offer a case of Prosecco once those friends go ahead and book.
