Day 1 - Welcome to Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to your beautiful private villa, nestled amongst the vineyards of the Constantia Winelands. Settle into your luxurious surroundings, relax after your journey and perhaps enjoy a glass of South African wine on the terrace overlooking the gardens.

This evening, join your fellow guests for welcome drinks before enjoying your first dinner together, prepared by our private chef, formerly of one of South Africa’s leading restaurants. It’s the perfect introduction to a holiday full of exceptional food, wine and unforgettable experiences.

Day 2 - Discover the Mother City

After breakfast, meet our expert local guide for a fascinating introduction to Cape Town, one of the world’s most spectacular cities.

We’ll visit iconic Table Mountain (weather permitting), wander through the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap and explore the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, widely regarded as one of the finest botanical gardens in the world.

Lunch is enjoyed during the day before returning to the villa.

This evening, before dinner, enjoy an exclusive private South African wine tasting led by our own sommelier. Discover the country’s remarkable wine regions, learn about the grape varieties that thrive in the Cape, and taste a carefully selected collection of exceptional South African wines. It’s the perfect introduction to the wines you’ll enjoy throughout the holiday.

Day 3 - Chapman's Peak & A Private Tasting Lunch

Today we experience one of the most breathtaking coastal journeys anywhere in the world.

Travelling along the dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive, we’ll stop to admire the incredible scenery before arriving at the exclusive Tintswalo Atlantic.

Here we’ll enjoy a private tasting lunch, created especially for Flavours Holidays, showcasing outstanding South African cuisine paired with carefully selected local wines. With uninterrupted views across the Atlantic Ocean and mountains rising behind us, this is one of those unforgettable experiences that few visitors ever enjoy.

We return to the villa later in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to relax before another delicious dinner at the villa.

Day 4 - Babylonstoren

Today we visit one of South Africa’s most celebrated estates.

Babylonstoren is far more than a wine estate—it’s an extraordinary working farm, magnificent gardens, orchards, vineyards and world-renowned restaurants, all set beneath the dramatic Simonsberg Mountains.

We’ll enjoy an exclusive private tour of the magnificent gardens, led by one of Babylonstoren’s knowledgeable guides, discovering the history, planting and philosophy behind this remarkable estate.

Afterwards, we’ll sit down to an exclusive private lunch, created especially for our group using the estate’s exceptional seasonal produce.

Following lunch, you’ll have free time to wander through the gardens, browse the beautiful farm shop or simply relax and enjoy one of the Cape Winelands’ most inspiring settings before returning to the villa later in the afternoon.

Day 5 - Penguins, Coastlines & Cape Point Vineyards

Today’s journey takes us around the spectacular Cape Peninsula.

We’ll visit Boulders Beach to meet its famous colony of African penguins before continuing through some of the Cape’s most dramatic scenery.

Later we’ll arrive at Cape Point Vineyards, where we’ll enjoy a relaxed gourmet picnic accompanied by award-winning wines while overlooking vineyards, mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.

We return to the villa in the early evening for dinner together.

Day 6 - Robben Island & The V&A Waterfront

Enjoy a leisurely morning at the villa. Relax by the pool, wander through the gardens or perhaps take a gentle stroll to nearby Klein Constantia, one of South Africa’s oldest and most prestigious wine estates.

After lunch, we head to the V&A Waterfront before taking the ferry to Robben Island. Visiting the prison where Nelson Mandela spent many years offers a moving and powerful insight into South Africa’s remarkable journey.

Returning to Cape Town, we’ll enjoy dinner at one of our favourite waterfront restaurants before heading back to the villa.

Day 7 - The Cape Winelands

Today we explore the heart of South Africa’s famous wine country.

Our first stop is the inspiring Pebbles Project, where we’ll learn about the charity’s outstanding work supporting children and families living within the Winelands.

We then continue to the historic wine Estate for a guided winery visit, followed by a wine tasting and leisurely lunch celebrating the estate’s outstanding wines and seasonal produce.

In the afternoon we’ll spend time exploring the charming village of Franschhoek, with its galleries, boutiques and cafés.

This evening, we return to the villa for a traditional South African braai.

Day 8 - A Day to Enjoy at Your Own Pace

Your final full day is yours to enjoy exactly as you wish.

Spend time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful gardens, or simply soaking up the tranquillity of the villa. If you’d like to explore a little more, we’re happy to arrange transport into Cape Town for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

This evening, we celebrate in true Flavours style. Enjoy one final feast prepared by our private chef, accompanied by exceptional South African wines, before our resident DJ starts spinning the decks amongst the vineyards. As the sun sets over the Constantia Winelands, we’ll dance beneath the stars, raise a final glass together and celebrate an unforgettable holiday in one of the world’s most beautiful destinations.

Day 9 - Farewell South Africa

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to Cape Town Airport for your onward flight.

We hope you’ll leave with wonderful memories, lasting friendships and a deep appreciation for the beauty, warmth and hospitality of South Africa.
