Walking Level

This holiday has been designed for guests who enjoy walking and spending time outdoors rather than experienced hikers or serious ramblers.

To get the most from the week, you should be comfortable walking for up to 1½ hours at a time over a variety of terrain. While many of the routes follow estate tracks, you should expect some gentle hills, uneven ground and occasional rougher surfaces.

The emphasis is always on enjoying the journey rather than covering long distances, and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop, admire the scenery and walk at a relaxed, sociable pace.

If you choose not to join one of the walks, you’re very welcome to spend time relaxing at Kipney Lodge instead. Curl up with a book, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, chat with fellow guests or simply take in the beautiful views across the estate. This is your holiday, and we want you to enjoy it in the way that suits you best.

Nordic Walking poles are available throughout the week for anyone who would like to use them, but they are entirely optional. You’re equally welcome to enjoy every walk without poles.

Wellbeing

Wellbeing is woven throughout the week.

Alongside the walks, you’ll enjoy two Yoga for sessions, designed to improve flexibility, mobility and balance, together with a guided Sound Bath Relaxation experience.

Optional massage treatments are also available to pre-book, giving you even more opportunity to relax and recharge during your stay.
