Italian Cooking Holidays in Tuscany

We have chosen a delightful corner of Tuscany to be the base of our new Cooking Holiday location for 2008. Lucca and the surrounding area is a delightful, yet still relatively unspoilt part of Tuscany. Flavours Cookery School in Tuscany is based at the peaceful and picturques, Villa Segalato.

Our short break, 4 days/3 nights, cooking holidays in Tuscany are £899 per person with no single supplement - which is always a bonus for the single traveller. During your stay with us in Villa Segalato, you'll have 3 cookery lessons with our chef Simone, but remember, 'Cookings Just the Half of It' - we also have some other treats in store for our guests, such as a tutored wine tasting. Our Tuscan Itinerary is brimming with all things Italian...

Lucca, ideal for Tuscan cooking holidays, is charming - the city never really feels touristy, enclosed by it's own walls which have now been turned into an elegant 12 m high garden, perfect for a passeggiata. Almost completely closed off to traffic, the city centre has a cosmopolitan air, the cobbled streets are ideal to stroll around and window shop, you just need to watch out for the locals (Lucchese) on their bicycles (usually with a mobile phone to their ear!)

Lucca is surrounded by the Apuan Alps, dramatic backdrop of rolling countryside, vineyards, rivers and charming towns such as the spa town Bagni di Lucca, as well as must see towns of Barga and Garfagnana.
