The Forci Estate is the perfect location for our Cookery Course in Tuscany lying amid vineyards and olive groves, steeped in strong culinary traditions of wine and olive production.

We have exclusive use of the private Villa Segalato tucked away on the estate high in the hills above Lucca. Guests will be able to sit on the terrace and enjoy views across the charming valley, dotted with ancient bell towers, olive groves and "modern" 18th century villas.
Our guests will stay in Villa Segalato is a classic Tuscan villa with terracotta tiles, wooden beams, a large kitchen, impressive formal lounge and six en-suite bedrooms. Outside the terrace has spectacular views down the valley and the swimming pool is perfect for an early morning swim.

Flavours week long Cookery Holidays in Tuscany, held at Villa Segelato, take place during the end of June, start of July and the end of August, start of September. While our short breaks, 4 days/3 nights, run during the months of March, April, May and October when the vines are laden with grapes and the estate workers are busy with the harvest. During the month of October the olives will be picked - all by hand and pressed in the Estate's ancient olive oil press. The Estate also produce their own Pecorino cheese, which will be used throughout the cookery course.
Wendy J spent a long weekend in Tuscany during May 2008 and sent us the following when she got back from her Flavours of Italy break:
“Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful holiday in Tuscany. Livia and Simone were exceptional hosts and I cannot praise them enough. I will definitely be taking another Flavours holiday in the future.”
