Luckily our villa is tucked away in the countryside on it’s own private estate close to the medieval town of San Miniato, which is well known for truffles and other Tuscan delicacies that you will be sure to sample. Florence is small enough to explore on foot with a compact historical centre. The best way to get a feel for the city is to get lost in the tangle of ancient streets, taking in the stunning façades of its art-studded churches and museums as you find them.

Flavours hold both short cooking breaks and week long cookery holidays at Villa Maria close to Florence, as well as our painting and Pilates holidays which run in September and October.
