Pasta Frolla Pastry


Ingredients
- 400g Flour 00
- 200g Butter (leave at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before using)
- 150g Sugar
- 1 Egg & 1 Egg Yolk
- Lemon Zest


Instructions

  • Mix the sugar and flour together
  • Mix in the softened butter and work it in quickly to the mixture
  • Add in the egg and egg yolk plus the lemon zest and work together to form the pastry dough
  • Set aside and leave to rest in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes before using
This pastry can be used for crostata, ricotta cheese cake, biscuits…
