The Art of South Africa (2026 Charity Art Exhibition)

Let’s experience “The Art of South Africa” in this Gallery.

Cape Town offers some of the most dramatic scenery in the world, from Table Mountain and the coastline to its colourful neighbourhoods and surrounding landscapes.

This collection celebrates some of the views and moments that stayed with our Amici after their travels, bringing their memories of South Africa to life through art.

Our 2026 Charity Art Exhibition has a collection of artwork created by members of our Amici community, inspired by their painting holidays and travels with Flavours Holidays.

Cape Bloom

Artist: Margaret Middlebrook

Price: £39 (unframed)

This powerful piece brings a modern perspective to the unique natural landscape of South Africa. Spotted at a local vineyard, the striking form of the protea is rendered with rich, velvety shadows and delicate highlights. The composition serves as a beautiful tribute to the Cape winelands, celebrating the intersection of the region’s world-class wine heritage and its raw botanical beauty.

Cape Town Heights

Artist: Alan Dickson

Price: £55 (unframed)

“The Platinum Amici holiday in Cape Town was always going to be special. Indeed, our first full day began with a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain in beautiful sunshine.  The photograph, taken from the plateau edge of Lion’s Head, almost took itself!  And once Mark and I had loaded it on the computer, it didn’t take long to come up with a caption and for Mark to work his magic to produce a dramatic and vibrant image.  For me, this really encapsulates the excitement I felt on my first visit to what is a spectacular country.”
