Villa Accommodation

You will be staying in this rustic country house located on the hills of Brisighella, within the Regional Park of Romagna called Parco Carnè. With stunning views of the Apennine foothills, this country house is the best place for relaxation and tranquility. The hills stretch endlessly from the villa, and you can easily stroll on nearby tracks, as well as simply relax with a drink in the large garden, gazing at the limitless view.

Cooking Holiday in Bologna - Itinerary


Day 1 (Saturday) - Group transfer from Bologna to the villa.

Benvenuti! Welcome to Emilia Romagna!

Once you arrive at the villa you will be welcomed by your chef and host and will enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.


Day 2 (Sunday) - First cooking class with our Italian chef.

After breakfast, you will have your first cookery lesson with your chef, enjoying the results for lunch. The afternoon is free to enjoy as you wish – spend the time relaxing by the pool, or exploring the grounds around the villa. Dinner is prepared for you this evening at the villa.


Day 3 (Monday) - Visits to local towns of Faenza and Brisighella

After breakfast, you will visit Faenza and enjoy exploring the capital of ceramics and then we make our way to Brisighella, a beautiful medival town to enjoy lunch at a local trattoria.  Return to the villa late afternoon for dinner.


Day 4 (Tuesday) - Cooking lesson and time to explore the local area.

After breakfast, you will have your second cooking lesson with your chef, followed by lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or walk through the grounds surrounding the villa. Dinner will be at the villa.


Day 5 (Wednesday) - Cooking lesson and afternoon visit to Ravenna.

This morning is your third cookery lesson, followed by lunch. The afternoon will be spent in the medieval town of Ravenna, known for the colourful mosaics adorning many of its central buildings, like the octagonal Basilica di San Vitale, the 6th-century Basilica di Sant’Apollinare Nuovo and the cross-shaped Mausoleo di Galla Placidia. You’ll have a chance to explore and do some shopping before dinner at a local restaurant.


Day 6 (Thursday) - Visit to a local winery for tasting and tour

Enjoy another hands-on cookery lesson this morning after breakfast, and then test your creations out for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit a local winery for a private wine tasting. Dinner will be at the villa, prepared by your chef.


Day 7 (Friday) - Final cooking lesson with farewell dinner in great company.

After breakfast, you have your final cookery lesson and lunch. Enjoy your afternoon relaxing at the villa and in the evening, the chef will prepare a farewell dinner.


Day 8 (Saturday) - Group transfer back to Bologna Airport.

After breakfast and some time to relax, our transfer will collect you and take you back to Bologna Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!

We understand that you would prefer to fly directly from your local airport. Please see our transfer times below to help with your travel plans:

May Dates Only:

  • On the first day of your holiday, your transfer driver will meet you in the arrivals hall of Bologna Guglielmo Marconi at 1:30 pm.
  • On the final day of your holiday, you will be collected and taken back in time for flights departing from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi between 1 pm and 2 pm.

June Onwards:

  • On the first day of your holiday, your transfer driver will meet you in the arrivals hall of Bologna Guglielmo Marconi at 12 noon.
  • On the final day of your holiday, you will be collected and dropped off at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi by 10 am.

Please note: transfers times are subject to change so please get in touch before booking your flight to ensure the timings work with the complimentary group transfer between Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport and your villa.
