Learn Italian in Umbria- Itinerary

Day 1

Benvenuti!

Benvenuti! Welcome to Umbria! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your chef, host and language tutor and enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.

Day 2

First language lesson. Afternoon time to relax and explore the villa ground.

After breakfast, you will have your first language lesson with your tutor, before enjoying lunch together. You are free in the afternoon to relax by the pool, or take a wander around the grounds of the villa. Dinner is prepared for you this evening at the villa.

Day 3

Visit Orvieto, lunch at a local Trattoria.

After breakfast, we will visit Orvieto, a remarkable town renowned for its stunning medieval architecture, rich history, and its dramatic position atop a flat volcanic plateau. Lunch will be at a local Trattoria. Return to the villa in the afternoon, where dinner will be prepared for you by your chef.

Day 4

Second language lesson. Winery visit in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you will have your second language lesson this morning before enjoying lunch at the villa. In the afternoon, visit a local winery for a private wine tasting and return to the villa, where your chef will prepare dinner.

Day 5

Boat trip to Bolsena.

After breakfast, you will head out to Bolsena for a boat trip and lunch. Then later in the afternoon, you will have a language lesson before dinner, prepared by your chef.

Day 6

Fourth language lesson. Afternoon visit to the towns Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana.

This morning is your fourth language lesson, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Pitigliano, Sorano, and Sovana, three charming towns known for their historical significance, stunning architecture, and unique landscapes. Dinner will be in one of our favourite family-owned restaurants in this area.

Day 7

Final language lesson. Farewell dinner.

This morning you’ll have your final language lesson, followed by lunch. Your afternoon is free to relax in the stunning grounds of the villa. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow guests.

Day 8

Arrivederci!

After breakfast, you’ll have some time to pack before our driver takes you on our group transfer back to Rome Fiumicino Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!
