Taster Holidays in Marrakech

Day 1 - Saturday

Arrive at Marrakech airport and once the group is all together, you will be taken by private minibus in our group transfer to the villa where you can settle in, meet your hosts and enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.

Day 2 - Sunday

We will hit the ground running today with a pre-breakfast yoga session. After breakfast, we will spend the day exploring Marrakech Medina. With the benefit of a local guide at our disposal, we will visit the Jemma el-Fnaa square, then on to the spice market and have the chance to try some local street food on our travels. Plenty of shopping opportunities followed by a late lunch at one of our favourite eating spots in the medina. Dinner will be in the villa this evening.

Day 3 - Monday

Start the day with an energising yoga session. After breakfast, we will head to the weekly local market in Ourika. Set in the foothills of the Atlas mountains, this will be an opportunity for you to see the “real Morocco” and to capture the essence of daily life. After the market, we will head into the mountains for lunch at Kasbah Bab Ourika an oasis of calm in the mountains with 360-degree panoramic views and beautiful manicured gardens to explore and relax in. You will return to the villa late afternoon.
Dinner will be served at the villa this evening.

Day 4 - Tuesday

After breakfast, we will head back to Marrakech Medina for your Moroccan cooking lesson. After first meeting your chef(s) you will visit the local market to buy the ingredients and then back to the kitchen to start your cooking lesson. Enjoy the results of your efforts for lunch. Returning late afternoon to the villa, the remainder of the afternoon will be yours to relax by the pool before dinner in the evening.

Day 5 - Wednesday

Pre-breakfast yoga session. After breakfast, we will head to the famous Majorelle Gardens. Whilst there, there will be the option for you to visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum ( optional additional cost ). Within the vicinity of the gardens there are further shops to explore and a nice coffee shop to enjoy a local Nous Nous coffee (Moroccan cappuccino ) and perhaps something sweet to accompany it.
We will return to the villa for lunch and in the afternoon we can organise massage treatments ( extra cost for treatments paid locally in either euros or Dirhams )
Dinner will be at the villa this evening.

Day 6 - Thursday

Your final pre-breakfast yoga session. Today is a day of relaxation and enjoying the Moroccan sunshine. For those of you wanting to do a little more shopping, we will be able to organise for the driver to take you back into the Medina. Lunch will be at the villa and this evening we will head back into the city to a classic eatery for dinner.

Day 7 - Friday

After breakfast there will be an optional guided walk into the Atlas mountains ( approx 2hrs walking and 75 minutes transfer time ) *. For those choosing to walk, lunch will be at the mountain restaurant along the route. For those wishing a day of relaxation, lunch will be available at the villa, and if requested, the opportunity for further massage treatments in the afternoon ( extra cost ) or a trip back into the Medina for last-minute shopping. Your farewell dinner this evening will be at the villa.

*If you intend to take the guided walk, please ensure that you bring along hiking / sturdy footwear, walking poles if you have them, and a light day pack to carry your essentials. The walk is classed as moderate.

Day 8 - Saturday

After breakfast, the group transfer will collect you and take you back to Marrakech airport for your flight home.
