Painting Holidays in Andalusia, Spain

Andalusia offers painters inspiring seascapes, wild countryside, mountain views, and an idyllic climate for a perfect painting holiday.

Our Andalusian base is the beautiful Il Palacete villa, set deep in dramatic hilly countryside, yet only 30 minutes’ drive from the coast. It’s private and peaceful, with spacious gardens, a pool and tennis court. This picturesque mini palace, full of charming historic details, dates back to the 1400s.

It’s a wonderful place to paint, with the aid of your experienced tutor who will offer techniques and tips to capture the essence of Andalusia, no matter whether you’re a novice painter or an old hand. We’ll venture out with sketchbooks to a pretty local town, private beach, and to the amazing town of Granada capturing the essence of the old town.

Meals are included, cooked by a private chef, and we’ll also dine at our favourite Spanish restaurant in a nearby hillside village.

Sketchbook, easels and boards are provided, and we’ll give you a handy list of painting materials to bring with you.

Villa Accommodation

Set in the dramatic Andalusian countryside, the historic 15th-century country house Il Palacete villa is just 30 minutes drive from the coast.

The interior offers a palatial style; it’s luxurious yet comfortable, with a private and peaceful atmosphere. The spacious gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained, perfect for painting or relaxing with a drink while gazing over the hillside views. There’s also an elegant swimming pool and tennis court. It ticks all the boxes for the comfort that our guests have come to expect on a Flavours holiday.
