Learn Italian in Sicily - Itinerary

Day 1

Our group transfer will pick you up from the airport.

Benvenuti! Welcome to Sicily! Our Flavours transfer will meet you at Catania Airport and take you to the villa where you can enjoy welcome drinks and meet your Italian tutor and fellow guests. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by our local chef.

Day 2

You will have your first day of learning Italian.

After breakfast, you will have your first Italian lesson followed by lunch at the villa. You will then have your first Italian lesson, followed by lunch at the villa. In the afternoon, you’re free to relax by the pool or wander around the grounds before your second Italian lesson and an Aperitivo Chat session. Dinner is prepared for you at the villa by your chef.

 

Indoor Italian Language Lessons with Guests

Day 3

Enjoy a day out in Siracusa and Noto.

Today we visit the coastal town of Siracusa, with lunch in a local restaurant in the old part of the city, Ortigia. You will have some more time to explore after lunch, before heading to Noto. Don’t miss visiting its beautiful Cathedral, or maybe treat yourself to some traditional ice cream. Return to the villa late afternoon for your Aperitivo Chat session, followed by dinner prepared by your chef.

Day 4

Italian lesson and trip to local winery.

After breakfast, enjoy a lesson with your Italian tutor. You’ll then have some time to relax at the villa before lunch. This afternoon, we will visit Marzamemi, a village famous for catching tuna fish, with an opportunity to try out your Italian skills on the locals! We’ll then head on to a private tour and wine tasting at a local winery, before returning to the villa for dinner.

Day 5

Spend some time relaxing before your Italian lesson and Aperitivo Chat session in the evening.

After breakfast, you will have some time to relax at the villa before your Italian lesson, followed by lunch at the villa. The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or enjoy an aperitivo chat with your fellow guests. Dinner will be at the villa.

Day 6

After your Italian language lesson, spend the afternoon exploring Modica & Ragusa.

In the morning, after breakfast you will have your lesson, followed by some free time. Lunch will be prepared by your chef at the villa, before heading to Modica to taste its famous chocolate. In the afternoon you will spend time exploring the stunning town of Ragusa and have an evening meal at our favourite local restaurant.

Day 7

Make the most of your last day of Italian lessons and farewell dinner.

In the morning, after breakfast you will have your first lesson of the day. Lunch will be prepared by our chef at the villa. Spend your final afternoon relaxing by the pool before your final lesson. This evening, your chef will prepare a special farewell dinner for the group.

Day 8

Our group transfer will return you to Catania Airport.

After breakfast you will have some time to pack before our transfer will take you back to Catania Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!

Villa Accommodation

The villas where our language holidays in Sicily take place are built in a typical Sicilian style. Chosen because of their locations, they have some beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Within the grounds of the villas, there are beautiful outdoor facilities complete with swimming pools, surrounded by almond and olive trees. After a dip, you can sit back and relax on the terrace. Sicily is an ideal place for a Mediterranean island holiday and our villa is the perfect place to kick back and relax.
