Villa Accommodation
As for your location, we think you’ll love Villa Tesoro, a converted farmhouse with gorgeous original features like stone walls and wooden ceiling beams. Villa Tesoro sits in the heart of a family-run farm with spanning views out over the hills, an outdoor pool, and a spa. It’s an idyllic place to switch off from daily life.
Learn Italian in Umbria- Itinerary
Day 1
Benvenuti!
Benvenuti! Welcome to Umbria! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your chef and host and enjoy welcome drinks. Dinner this evening is at the villa, prepared by your chef.
Day 2
First language lesson. Afternoon time to relax and explore the villa ground.
After breakfast you will have your first language session. During your second day, your teacher schedules a brief one-to-one chat with each guest to to gauge your level of Italian. In the afternoon, you’re free to relax by the pool or wander around the grounds before your second Italian lesson and an Aperitivo Chat session. Dinner tonight is prepared for you at the villa.
Day 3
Visit Pitigliano for a practical lesson.
Following breakfast, you will have your second session followed by lunch. In the afternoon the driver will take you to the beautiful hilltop town of Pitigliano where you can explore the surrounding, enjoy the view of the valley and practice your language skills with a practical session among locals before returning to the villa for dinner.
Day 4
Afternoon visit to Orvieto with dinner
This morning after having breakfast, you will have your second language class before lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Orvieto, a remarkable town renowned for its stunning medieval architecture, rich history, and its dramatic position atop a flat volcanic plateau. You will have some time for sightseeing or shopping before heading to a local Trattoria for dinner.
Day 5
Lake Bolsena and lunch out
In the morning our driver will collect you and take you to Bolsena, and it’s peaceful and picturesque lake where you can have another practical session. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. This afternoon you will return to the villa for your evening session with your tutor before dinner.
Day 6
Fourth language lesson and free afternoon.
After breakfast, you will have another Italian lesson before lunch. The afternoon is free for you to do as you wish before gathering for your Aperitivo Chat with your tutor. Dinner will be prepared for you at the villa.
Day 7
visit to a local market and farewell dinner
Following breakfast, you will head to the nearest town of Acquapendente to visit the local market, a centre for the agricultural production of vegetables and wine, with a tradition of pottery craftsmanship. You’ll have a chance to wander, explore and practice your language skills with a practical session among locals before returning to the villa for lunch. Enjoy your afternoon in the villa before your final Aperitivo Chat session followed by your farewell dinner.
Day 8
Arrivederci!
After breakfast, you’ll have some time to pack before our driver takes you on our group transfer back to Rome Fiumicino Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!
