The city of Venice is magical at the best of times but comes truly alive over the festive period. The festivities are not stop and the atmosphere is amazing with food, culture and art all coming together to celebrate this time of year. During this 4 day Festive break, you will learn local festive recipes and sample the fruits of your labour along the way with a glass of Prosecco of course!

Our villa is away from the hustle and bustle situated near Treviso and is stunning Venetian Manor house restored to its fully glory. The perfect spot to enjoy the Veneto region.

    Italian Festive Cooking Short Break in Venice - Itinerary

    Day 1

    Benvenuti! Group transport to villa and first cookery lesson.

    Benvenuti! Welcome to Venice! You will arrive at the villa where you can settle in, meet your chef and host, enjoy welcome drinks and a light lunch. Later this afternoon, you will be in the kitchen for your first cooking lesson with the chef, enjoying the results for dinner.

    Day 2

    Explore stunning Venice including lunch at a typical Bacaro and enjoy the festive atmosphere

    Following breakfast, our transfer will collect the group and take you to Venice. Here you will have the day at your leisure to wander around this stunning city. Whether you choose to explore the mysterious passageways by foot or float along the maze of canals, Venice offers an abundance of stunning architecture and breathtaking views – don’t miss the Basilica di San Marco. Enjoy lunch organised at a typical Bacaro in the heart of the city. Return to the villa for dinner prepared by your chef.

    Day 3

    Enjoy your second festive cookery class, visit to Treviso

    This morning, enjoy your second cooking lesson with your chef, where you will be in the kitchen making festive recipes followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit Treviso where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere or go for some shopping before having an aperitivo as Italians would. Tonight your dinner will be prepared by your chef at the villa.

    Day 4

    Final cooking lesson and lunch before going home. Arrivederci!

    After breakfast, enjoy your final cooking lesson with your chef, followed by lunch. Our transfer will then collect you and take you back to Marco Polo Airport for your flight home. Arrivederci!

    Villa Accommodation

    Villa Domenica is a beautiful Venetian manor house situated near the small town of Treviso. Dating back to the 1500s, the villa has a rich history and sumptuously decorated rooms. Enjoy full use of the villa’s pool and beautifully manicured sculpture garden, perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco.     • On the first day of your holiday your transfer driver will meet you in the arrivals hall of Venice Marco Polo Airport at 1:15pm. (For your arrival, London Heathrow with BA is a good option).
    • On the final day of your holiday, you will be collected and taken back in time for flights departing from Venice Marco Polo Airport at 3.30pm. (For your departure to London Heathrow is a good option).

    Please note: transfer times are subject to change so please get in touch before booking your flight to ensure the timings work with the complimentary group transfer between Venice Marco Polo Airport and your villa.
